Smith Alling has a broad-based trial and appellate practice representing corporate, public agency, financial, industrial and individual clients. We are experienced in all phases of business and casualty litigation.

Our attorneys try jury and non-jury cases in state and federal court, and handle proceedings before administrative agencies. We regularly appear before the courts of Washington, Oregon and Alaska, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, the Washington Court of Appeals, and the Washington State Supreme Court. Our attorneys also frequently participate in alternative dispute resolution, handling mediations and arbitrations both as facilitators and on behalf of individual parties.
